John Gamester grew up in San Diego, CA, and earned his Bachelor of Architecture in college. He loves figuring out how things are put together, which is reflected in both his professional and personal interests. In 2009, he met his wife, Tammy, and they now live together in Tempe, AZ.

Writing and drawing serve as creative outlets for John, helping him relieve stress and express his ideas. His fascination with fantastic tales began in his youth, fueled by his love of fantasy, horror, science fiction, and comics. These genres, with their themes of the unknown, strange locales, and monstrous creatures, have significantly influenced his storytelling.
